Chamber of Commerce Drawdown Rules


The event will be held on Oct. 3rd at the Wetumpka Civic Center from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

We are selling up to 300 numbered tickets for $100 each. The grand prizewinner is the last number pulled.  The grand prize and other cash prizes will consist of up to of the eligible cash pool from ticket sales up to $10,000.00.  Additional proceeds will go to operations of the Chamber Innovation Center, benefiting business and economic development in the Wetumpka Area.

Unsold tickets may be purchased at the event prior to the start of the drawdown at the discretion of the Chamber Executive Committee.

Each ticket holder will enjoy a wonderful steak meal catered by Dan Bradshaw and two beverages.  A cash bar will be available.  Dinner only tickets are available at $25.00 per person.  A silent auction of donated and consigned items will also be occurring during the drawdown.

There is no limit to the number of tickets any one person can buy. Must be 21 to collect money or prizes.

A last Chance Opportunity may be offered before the drawing. If so, a ticket buyer can choose to pay an extra $100, for a last Chance Opportunity.

Grand prize ticket holder does NOT have to be present to win the grand prize. Ticket holder must be present and have ticket to win other give-a-ways and prizes. Ticket holder must be present to split grand prize unless prior to the event the ticket holder has signed a form agreeing to the split.  

No one can represent the ticket holder to collect grand prize except in extreme circumstances (military duty, hospitalization) and situation must be verified before release of money.

Tickets are numbered, non-transferable and non-refundable.  Once a number has been drawn, the corresponding numbered ticket is no longer in contention for remaining money or prizes.

DISCLAIMER:  By participating in the draw down, all participants agree to be bound by these rules.  If there is any dispute or question of interpretation, the matter shall be decided by the Chamber Executive Committee, whose decision shall be final and binding on all parties in all respects. By accepting a prize, winners agree that the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce and its affiliates, employees and agents will have no liability and will be held harmless by winners for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, due in whole part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes or participation in the contest, even if caused or contributed by the negligence of the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce. Winners are responsible for paying all taxes regarding any prizes awarded. Due to postal regulations we cannot mail tickets.
